2023년 첫 행사에서 50만 달러 이상을 모금한 ‘100 for the Ocean‘가 올해 다시 돌아왔습니다. 6월 1일부터 30일까지, 세계적인 사진작가 100명이 찍은 인상적인 사진들을 100달러에 구매할 수 있으며, 모든 수익은 해양 보전을 위한 비영리 단체에 기부됩니다.
올해 기금 수혜 단체는 산호초 복원에 힘쓰는 Coral Gardeners, 어린이들에게 해양 환경 보호의 중요성을 알리는 Young Ocean Explorers, 그리고 브리티시 컬럼비아의 Salish Sea 보호를 위한 Oceans Initiative입니다.
폴 니클렌, 크리스티나 미터마이어, 체이스 테론이 설립한 이 행사는 SeaLegacy와 협력하여 해양 환경 보호를 위한 이야기를 전 세계에 전파하고 있습니다. 100장의 한정판 사진은 6월 1일 오전 12시부터 판매되며, 디지털 카탈로그를 통해 미리 감상할 수 있습니다.
